Special Assignment
Based on measurements taken by the USS Bouman and Science Station Delta-05 we’ve compiled thousands of simulations. Major variables in these simulations include the Hobus Star, Subspace Ruptures, and Distortions within the confines of the system. Early simulations included variables such as warp cores of nearby ships, detonation of major installations, dark matter phenomena, etc. but were ultimately found to be statistically insignificant given the scale of the event.
This report contains the worst/best case simulations for the purposes of evacuation prioritization and resettlement. Further, we’ve broken down the effected area into several layers based on impact:
Red Area: Planets, colonies, ships, and installations in this area are expected to be completely destroyed or rendered uninhabitable. Some regions of space may suffer permanent subspace damage limiting or preventing warp travel.
Orange Area: Significant Damage to hardened spaceborne facilities. Colonies should be able to weather the wave with proper preparation. Recommend populations remaining take cover underground. Severe electromagnetic disturbances.
Yellow Area: Hardened spaceborne facilities should be able to weather the wave without major damage. Unhardened facilities will likely be destroyed. Prepared colonies should weather the wave without major damage.
